Will Schwarz left the world of technical diving behind for an idyllic couple’ s stay at a Philippine island resort... which just happened to be near the wrecks of Coron Bay

The Philippines is a smorgasbord of opportunity, adventure, excitement and wonder.

I first ventured into the sensory overload back in 2012 when I worked in Makati, Manila. That was an eye opener for a small town Welsh boy. Back then, I would struggle through a taxi, public bus, jeepney and finally tricycle to escape to Anilao every weekend, to simply find some peace and get submerged.
During this time I wandered to Busanga Island, where I planned to dive the wrecks of Coron. Every day, going out to the wrecks I would pass this beautiful tropical resort paradise at the southern end of Sangat Island. I remember then wishing to stay there; alas, on my budget, the hostels of Coron Town were the only accommodation available. A similar thought went through my mind two and
