BSAC CENTRE DIVERSTIME IS ALL set to host a brand-new regional diving and snorkelling festival at Nottinghambased Spring Lakes Watersports Centre on Saturday, 12 July.
Supported by BSAC, the very first Scoob & Snork Fest will take over the West Lake of Spring Lakes in Long Eaton, for a packed day of activities, both in and out of the water.
As well as try dives, rebreather tasters and snorkel sessions, kit manufacturers, including Dynamic Nord, Cressi, Apeks and Reel Diving will be on hand to chat through the latest scuba and snorkel gear. VIP guest, SCUBA’ s own snorkel guru Andy Torbet will also be there. There will also be a DJ and food stalls.
Diverstime’ s Mark Griffin, who opened the new BSAC centre at the Spring Lakes venue in 2023, said he hoped Scoob & Snork Fest would become an annual event.
“ The festival will be a great opportunity for BSAC members to get together, as well as see the new Spring Lakes venue and share our enthusiasm for all things scuba and snorkelling. It promises to be a great day.”
Entry to Scoob & Snork Fest is £ 5 per person and full details of the event will be released shortly. All try dives, CCR and snorkel sessions will need to be booked in advance via bsac. com
