Porthkerris is snuggled in-between Porthoustock and Porthallow on the Lizard and has long been one of my favourite places to dive . The Manacles are up there in some of my top dives ever , but Drawna Rocks is also a great shore dive and one that I love at both low and high tide . The fishbowl is a fantastic place to watch the

5 Starting shallow at the Hera
This is a great starting point for an early season boat dive . At just 15-18m deep it ’ s accessible to everybody . The shallow depth is great for beginners and training dives , but there are also enough interesting features for the more experienced diver , and great marine life for budding biologists and photographers . The A frame is a highlight for me , and I love that much of the wreckage is covered in beautiful plumose anemones and patrolled by large wrasse and pollock .
