Funding from the Fest

FOLLOWING THE STORMY SUCCESS OF the recent NW Dive Fest at Capernwray, event organisers have now presented a £ 3,000 cheque to North West Air Ambulance.
The diving event in October saw more than 120 divers thwart the impact of Storm Amy to enjoy a packed day of CCR, side-mount and scooter try dives, treasure hunts, kit stands and photo competitions. Organised by BSAC’ s North West Regional Team, the day not only showcased all things scuba but raised money for an essential cause. North West Regional Coach, Stephen Dorricott, thanked everyone who attended or exhibited at the NW Dive Fest for their donations and support.
“ We were proud to hand over a cheque for £ 3,000 to the North West Air Ambulance Charity, whose incredible work supports communities and outdoor enthusiasts across our region,” he added.
