too. As you can see, field hockey improves your
health A LOT.
After that, field hockey helps improve your organs
a lot. If you play field hockey, it improves your
mental strength by getting forced to do things
outside your comfort zone. Field Hockey also
boosts your brain and improves your breathing.
When playing field hockey, you get a good cardio
workout by doing hard running and interval
training ( Which is when you alternate from
jogging to sprinting.)

When you’re playing on a field, you have to talk
to your teammates so it improves your
communication. If you play field hockey, you can
meet new people and make friends. Also, field
hockey improves your teamwork. “ My favorite
players are my teammates because they help me
and challenge me to get better,” Samantha Cho, a
travel field hockey player stated.

History
First, most historians believe that field hockey
comes from northern Europe, specifically
Great Britain and France where field hockey was
a summer sport. Field hockey has experienced its
greatest level of success in India, Hong Kong,
Egypt, New Zealand, and USA. Field hockey is a
very old sport .

Field hockey was invented from the idea of ice
hockey. The first stick was invented between
1852-1856. Field hockey took its form in the 1800s
