are very heavy. Now you can find out what
all the character’s costumes are.
As for any show the costumes are what

Wormwood’s costumes are very set to the
occasion, very hot when on stage, and when
an actor is done with a song they are usually
very tired. The Trunchbull has a lot of things
to put on like, wearing extra layers of socks on
and other things like it to make it the actor
look more buff. With all these costumes just
to name a couple the choreographer, Peter
Darling had a big job on his hands because
these costumes make people hot and there are
some really long and hard dances to learn.
The Music Director, Tim Minchin, is a
comedian as well, so there are some laughs
here and there.
As you may know Matilda has special
eye powers, and you might wonder how they
would do that on stage, well here it is. The

special effects, one effect is the chalk writing
scene the effect is that there is a magnet in
the chalk and on the other side of the board is
a guy that has a magnet, and he writes in
cursive backwards. Another special effect in
this Musical is, when Matilda shows her power
to Miss Honey, this effect is done by a string
that just if you let it go of the string and there
is a cup connected to it so then it looks like
Matilda did it with her eyes.
THE ACTORS

section you will know and find out the

them important. Many people know maybe
even you that Miss Honey and The Trunchbull
are polar opposites, well did you know The
Trunchbull has to sing in a certain voice so it
sounds like a girl when he actually isn’t.
He also has a lot of costume to get on.
The Wormwoods as you may know are
very fond of their TV and watch shows on it
instead of reading. So in this part, we are
going to talk about the Wormwoods. Lesli
Margherita plays Mrs. Wormwood and is also
a comedian. Sometimes a Matilda is older
than another but since they switch the
