Then, she told me that Madras was the
only city that she knew about in South
India.
place to finish the day off.
The view from the top of the lighthouse
is stunning. The beach is also filled with
various stalls selling corn, peanuts,
mangoes and ice cream. It is mandatory
to try everything that the beach has to
offer. From the balloon shooting to the
horse riding to flying kites, it is an
amazing experience.
To all you readers, let us consider a
scene wherein you are visiting the city
for the very first time, and I am your
tour guide (Let’s hope that it never
happens because nobody can tolerate
me for that long, just saying).
Since the beach is surrounded by
countless dineries, dinner shouldn’t be a

There are also specific landmarks for
specific items. For example, if you want
to buy clothes and accessories, you can
spend the day at T Nagar. If you are
into books, then Moore Market is the
place to go. Are you a techie who wants
to
experiment
with
electronic
components?
Check out Ritchie Street. These are
just some of the many examples
that I could possibly give. The city is a
vast land with so much to offer.
If you want to play it safe, then you also
have numerous multi-cuisine restaurants
to choose from. Post lunch, we would
head over to a nearby shopping mall to
do some ‘Window Shopping’. Evenings
are for a long cab ride to the Marina
Beach. Filled with laughter and little
kids running around, this is the perfect
