Luna was getting shy from all the
attention, and once again, hid behind
the clouds. But her friend kept staring at
her.
Oh no, she hates me. She thinks I am a
freak now. “So, now you will not judge
me for having a toy pig as my only
friend till you came along, right?”, the
girl looked up from the floor to see her
friend smiling at her.
No judgement, no mocking. Just a
genuine smile. Tears pricked the girl’s
eye, just like thirty days back, except for
all the different reasons. “Of course
not!” she replied, laughing loudly as her
friend pulled her down to her house,
already talking about other things.
The girl looked back at Luna. Shining
brightly, lighting up the sky, not like
the sun, but in her own special way.
Luna looked beautiful, and the girl had
slowly learned, that she was too.
Full moon day.
And both of them were finally whole.
