it's time for an eco-friendly modernCairo!
TIRED
OF THIS?
Egyptian architects like Moatesem Esmat are up for that challenge. They are ready to guide Egypt through the world of Architectural Innovation and Sustainability. In a country like Egypt where its capital is on the top polluted cities of the world, action must be taken.
You can see for yourself in Esmat’s Egyptian Fine Arts Center design. It’s not only appealing to the eye, with its greenery skin and curvy structure but it’s also eco-friendly.
This construction is powered by wind and solar energy. That’s because its geometrical conception optimizes solar exposure, wind currents and rainwater collection. There is a rain water recycling system. On top of that, the roof is covered in greenery, creating a park on top of the center. Looking at Greater Cairo being all covered up in rectangular, banal, dusty colored building, we definitely need a change of pace.
TIME
FORTHIS!

Tired of the dense city, the city that is overflowing with buildings uncontrollably ? Haven’t you noticed that they are all the same : rectangularly shaped and dusty ? The city has become an accumulation and juxtaposition of constructions. When it’s 30C out there, humid and you’ve had a long day but the traffic is just unbearable, what do you do ? You look out the window. What do you see ? The same buildings everywhere and you’re even more depressed and exhausted than you already were. You wish you lived in cities like Dubai, New York where skyscrapers will just take your breath away, where the buildings are beautifull constructed, where it’s okay to be stuck in traffic. Now back to reality, Cairo is just a suffocating city that is ready to, yes, explode from this overpopulation. It’s time for a change. It’s time to bring life to the city. It’s time to sprinkle some innovation and creativity over Cairo. It’s time for a new era of architectural design. It’s time for a change !
