Pg.no. 31 Figure 10.1 (Animal Cell) Plasma Membrane:      The Plasma membrane involving the cell. It give shapes to the cell. It act as a guard. It control the entry and exit of materials. Anything is coming inside the cell is meet to protoplasm. Protoplasm: It is a colloid, found inside the plasma membrane. It is having two components namely cytoplasm and nucleus of the cell. It is protoplasm. Cytoplasm: It is a cytoplasm, found in between the plasma membrane and the nucleus. It is made up of carbohydrates and proteins. Organelles and lipid droplets are present in this. Nucleus: It is the controlling centre of the cell. But it is need not be present at the centre. It is called nucleus. It is in spherical in shape. It is having nucleoplasm, Nucleolus and Chromatin reticulum and it is enclosed by the nuclear membrane. It carries the genetic characters from generation to generation. Figure 10.2 (Nucleus)
