May 25, 1961- "“I believe that this Nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth.”

Fifty years since his assassination and Kennedy’s influence on our world is still clear. His dreams of exploration have been accomplished by the hard work of millions, and are still realized today. This article is a tribute to a man who may not have directly changed science but influenced a generation of dreamers and world changers.
