On the other hand , most elders think the younger generations are wasting their time with their computers and their phones , not doing anything productive , a lot of young people are following science in its pursuit of knowledge . Due to their lack of experience as they haven ’ t lived as long as their parents or grandparents , young people have a natural curiosity that drives them to look up different subjects about the world around them . Elders are often surprised at a younger person ’ s greater knowledge , about certain , often more complex topic that isn ’ t expected of them to know .
As science and technology continue to develop and evolve , so does our understanding of the world .
