Monica loves the format of the medical laboratory science major , which includes a professional and clinical practicum at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore . “ Our courses teach us not only material but techniques as well . In our classes we learn an extensive amount of medical information , but it is always followed up in labs that same week , where we cover the lecture again with handson training .”
Monica feels confident that what she learns in the classroom will help her in life after graduation . “ All of the lab reports , projects , and practicums I ’ ve completed make me feel prepared for what I will experience in the workplace .”
