COURSE HIGHLIGHT : FALL 2015 NEW YORK CITY TOUR
Fashion merchandising students embarked on a fashion industry study tour to New York City . During this excursion , the students learned about the fashion industry as well as internship and job opportunities when they visited a number of sites including Nine West , Maggie Norris Couture , and Out of Print Clothing . This trip offered students the chance to interact with professionals in the global fashion capital and gain a perspective on their future careers .

Stevenson University ’ s bachelor ’ s degree in fashion merchandising provides students with a focus on the marketing aspects of merchandising for the apparel and retail industries .
The fashion merchandising program represents a collaboration between Stevenson ’ s business administration and fashion design departments , combining classes from marketing , management , merchandising , and fashion design to provide a comprehensive view of fashion and retail operations .
Graduates of this program can expect to find employment with major and independent retailers , design studios , fashion publishers , merchandising manufacturers , fashion and retail forecasting firms , and other fashion-related businesses .
