Sustainable Polymers
I develop biodegradable polymers from plant biomass by extracting and modifying cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and starch, and design high-performance biopolymers and biocomposites for applications in packaging, biomedical, agricultural, wastewater treatment and drug delivery.

My expertise also includes creating crosslinked hydrogels with tuneable properties for tissue engineering, wound healing and drug delivery, enhanced through functionalization and nanoparticle incorporation.
Additionally, I work on nanocomposite polymers and metallic nanoparticles to improve material performance and enable applications in biomaterials, environmental remediation, sensing and advanced healthcare solutions.
