IN QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS Soaring 15 places , Monash entered the QS World University Rankings top 50 for the first time , achieving the rank of 42nd worldwide . This solidifies Monash ’ s status as a leading international university with a global network and diverse student and staff population , as well as exemplifying excellence in education and research .
ALUMNI AND STAFF gathered for a night of connection and celebration at the Monash Malaysia Business Alumni Dinner 2023 . President and Pro Vice- Chancellor Prof Adeeba Kamarulzaman along with Head of School of Business Prof Nafis Alam welcomed attendees and shared updates and achievements of Monash University and the School of Business . Distinguished alumnus , Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar discussed digital transformation and ESG , and Prof Goh See- Kwong announced the launch of the Master of Digital Business program , emphasising Monash Malaysia ’ s commitment to preparing graduates for the digital workforce .

National Champions of HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition 2023 Our students , Lily Chuah , Shaun Mathias , Abhishek Mendali , and Kayden Chai were crowned national champions , with Lily Chuah earning the title of “ The Most Eloquent Speaker .” Competing against 15 universities , they showcased their analytical prowess and presentation skills in a grueling format , impressing judges with innovative strategies to advise a cloud storage company on business growth .
PRME CHAMPIONS As one of 47 PRME Champions in 2023 , we represent a group of dedicated business and management schools from across the PRME network globally committed to develop and promote responsible management education and deliver positive societal impact for business and communities at large .

Alongside staff , alumni and industry partners , this dual celebration was a testament to our unwavering dedication to academic rigor , innovative research , and collaborative partnerships . Our journey has been pivotal in driving the growth and development of Malaysia ’ s dynamic business landscape .

SATISFACTION RATE Our coursework taught units achieved an overall satisfaction rate of 93 % in 2023 , exceeding the University ’ s target of 90 %. The Student Evaluation of Teaching and Units ( SETU ) is a way we get to hear from students about their experience of learning within a unit and provides a broad indicator of students ’ satisfaction and areas for improvement .
VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS New tech-related advances played a key role in Monash ’ s experiences as face-toface learning regained its footing . With seven virtual classrooms , our school remains at the forefront of innovation , constantly exploring new tools such as simulations , diagnostic resources , and activities based on virtual reality to enrich the learning experiences of our students .
