Our people ’ s accomplishments reflect our commitment to education , research and engagement with Sustainability , Digital Transformation and Thriving Communities at our core .
I am honoured to present to you our 2023 annual report ; another milestone to our 25 years of the School of Business in Malaysia . This report is a testament to the commitment of the School towards excellence in all our activities and achievements . Our people ’ s accomplishments reflect our commitment to education , research and engagement , with sustainability , digital transformation and thriving communities at our core .
All our efforts are guided by Monash University ’ s Impact 2030 Strategic Plan to address challenges of the ages and for the betterment of our communities , both locally and globally . Sustainability is not just a goal but a way of life within our School , as we strive to be stewards of our environment . Our commitment to societal impact is further underscored through our participation in the Principles for Responsible Management Education ( PRME ), and as PRME Champions we ensure that our activities are aligned with global responsible management practices .
As we embrace digital transformation , we harness technology to enhance learning and research capabilities . And our commitment to thriving communities drive our School initiatives , determined to ensure our work has a meaningful and lasting impact beyond our campus walls .
On education , we continue to innovate our curriculum , ensuring students are equipped not just with knowledge , but also the critical thinking skills essential for success in today ’ s dynamic world . Through experiential learning and mentorship , authentic assessments and real-world simulations , we nurture the leaders of tomorrow .
Our research endeavours have yielded noteworthy discoveries , pushing boundaries and contributing to the global body of knowledge . From fundamental breakthroughs to practical applications , our strong cohort of academic researchers are at the forefront in addressing complex challenges the society faces today .
Engagement and Impact completes the three core functions of the School , intertwined in our goal to be an innovative institution . We actively integrate our efforts within our communities , working hand-in-hand with all stakeholders to effect positive change , be it via outreach programs , partnerships or service initiatives .
Looking ahead , we are driven by bold aspirations to enhance our education programs and pioneer teaching innovation . Interdisciplinary collaborations will fuel research breakthroughs to address global challenges . Strengthening partnerships and initiatives will amplify our efforts , benefiting both students and partners .
As we celebrate our silver jubilee , I am further inspired by our journey thus far and grateful for the dedication of our staff , faculty and partners . Together , let ’ s continue striving for excellence and creating meaningful impact , with the School of Business .
