BALASINGHAM holds a Master in Social Sciences and PhD in Finance from the University of Birmingham , alongside a bachelor from the University of Jaffna . With extensive academic experience spanning La Trobe University and Monash University Australia , his research , published in esteemed journals , explores various facets of corporate finance and governance . ERNIEL was formerly a professor at the School of Statistics , University of the Philippines Diliman where he obtained a PhD in Statistics , with visiting positions at Karlstad University and the Asian Development Bank Institute ( Japan ). His research focuses on computational statistics , econometrics , and nonparametric methods , applied in spatiotemporal modeling and financial markets .
