Distinguished industry leaders from a diverse range of multinational companies delved into the strategic implications of AI , highlighting the importance of sustainability and ESG in enhancing companies ’ value propositions .
Digital Business Industry-Academia Workshop 11 July 2023 CEOs , co-founders and digital experts from seven top tech firms were brought together to strategise on preparing graduates for the digital age . The workshop centered on identifying digital trends and competency gaps to shape a new bachelor ’ s degree in digital business . Through collaborative efforts with faculty members from Monash Business School in Australia , it cultivated an opportunity to explore co-development and co-teaching initiatives with industry partners such as HexaIOT , Oracle , Tata Consultancy Services , Treta Exchange , Wahine Capital , and Workato .
Constructive Alignment Workshop 25-26 September 2023 This two-day workshop aimed to align course and unit learning outcomes with the top 10 skills projected for 2025 , emphasising outcomes-based education and refining unit learning outcomes using Bloom ’ s Taxonomy . It also reviewed program-level assessment regimes , shared diverse assessment approaches , and modified regimes for more authentic assessments .
Education Byte : Quick Nuggets of Wisdom in Three Minutes 9 November 2023 Faculty members Prof Goh See-Kwong , Prof Grace Lee , Dr Esther Chong and Dr Simran Kaur shared their insights and experiences on exploring new approaches to enhance the teaching and learning process . The session focused on innovative teaching methods , the role of technology in the classroom , the importance of student engagement , and other pertinent topics .
PRME Lego Workshop 27 September 2023 The i5 PRME , developed by PRME in collaboration with the LEGO Foundation , integrates playful learning to embody i5 characteristics : meaningful , joyful , iterative , social , and engaging . PRME Champions organised a workshop in September 2023 for academics from regional PRME signatory schools , focusing on using playful learning for holistic development . This approach utilises LEGO Bricks as a teaching tool across business disciplines , facilitated by a certified LEGO SERIOUS PLAY facilitator . p 19
