Training - Leadership Bootcamp
The School EXCO attended the Leadership Bootcamp at Sunway Lagoon Resort on 31 May , 2022 . The Bootcamp was designed to help the School ’ s executive leadership team to better understand and appreciate the diversity of leadership styles and approaches . The Bootcamp also aimed to raise leadership awareness of how to effectively drive change across the School ’ s portfolio of education , research , external engagement , and administrative services in order to accomplish the School ’ s mission .
Training - Google Sheets and Lean Kaizen
The focus of this year ’ s training for professional staff has been on improving operational efficiency . The School ’ s professional staff attended training in Google Sheets on 13 – 14 June , 2022 , so that they could better organise , analyse data and even automate processes via Google Sheets . The team also attended a Lean Kaizen Training on 6 – 7 October , 2022 , which aimed to increase efficiency by streamlining or eliminating redundant processes . The workshops provided strategic tools that professional staff can use in their ongoing efforts to improve processes and increase productivity .
Open House Diwali
The School hosted an Open House to celebrate Deepavali , the festival of lights . Staff enjoyed the festive celebration ’ s colourful , warm , and welcoming atmosphere , as well as the delicious food . school of business / monash university malaysia
