Monash Business Alumni

The School of Business has a strong and ongoing relationship with alumni through the Monash Malaysia Business Alumni Chapter ( MMBAC ). It provides a platform for Monash Alumni to connect , empower and develop through networking and community-building events that create impact among Monash Alumni and the wider community .
A Better Workplace for Tomorrow .”
On the evening of 10 March , the Monash Malaysia Business Alumni Chapter kicked off 2022 with a webinar entitled “ A Better Workplace for Tomorrow ”, convening alumni from all ages and disciplines to discuss a timely topic of workplace wellbeing in the “ new normal ”. The panel of alumni speakers shared their experiences and perspectives on the way forward for employers and employees in navigating the uncertainties of flexible work arrangements as we transition towards COVID endemicity .
His Excellency Dr Justin Lee , the Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia ( and also a Monash alumni ), officiated the event and conveyed his support for future engagements with the High Commission .
MMBAC Connect also took the opportunity to say “ Thank You ” to all past MMBAC board members , mentors , volunteers and university staff for their continued support throughout the years . The event ended with a virtual networking with all attendees .
Alumni Networking Event and Dean ’ s Visit
Monash Malaysia Business alumni enjoyed a great alumni panel on digital transformation with engaging discussions by Prof Simon Wilkie , Dean at the Faculty of Business and Economics , Prof Nafis Alam , Head of School , and A / Prof Jane Tong , Deputy Head of School ( Education ).
