New event alert: Professional Development Weekend offering six courses and an exam prep session

For the first time ever, NAPT is offering a full weekend event dedicated to our Professional Development Series! The event will provide participants with the opportunity to complete three PDS courses over a weekend in a regional location. We will offer a total of six courses: four on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and two on Sunday, May 18, 2025. As an attendee, you can complete three courses along with a CSNT Exam Prep Session. President Trump has named Jonathan Morrison to serve as the Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration( NHTSA) which provides significant oversight and regulation for the school transportation industry. During the first Trump administration, Morrison served as Chief Counsel at NHTSA for just over three years. He served as head of legal and regulatory affairs for the California New Car Dealers Association, including interactions with NHTSA on behalf of the members. He has also worked with APPLE presumably on matters related to their autonomous vehicle program. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and of the University

The Governors’ Highway Safety Association called him a‘ committed public servant who puts safety first.’ Morrison’ s nomination must be reviewed first by the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, prior to confirmation by the full U.
