12 continue from last page- FOAE on stopping anytime soon. They feel they are hitting on all cylinders. What are your Plans for the future? FOAE: We are planning on playing as much as we can in surrounding areas, trying to get our current album Songs of Steel & Sorrow to as many people as we can, preferably as a live performance, but also digitally, and through whatever networking avenues we can, such as this to Spread the word. Although their album was only released back in January they are already reloaded with tons of new material.. The band is working on finishing up 7-8 new songs between balancing Day to day life and Playing shows all over the south. It won’t be long before you hear New music from the band. FOAE: We worked hard and are very proud of our first record. We are working hard on the next one and we are a more cohesive, well oiled machine now, writing is improving and our sound is growing. We have always been willing to ride the line on the type of music that we pursue. Our new songs keep that spirit alive, following musical whim wherever it takes us though always conscious of the groove and the soul that we have always injected into our sound. If you can’t bob your head to one of our tunes, you’re better off keeping your neck still. Haha. We just look forward to doing what we are doing, maybe someone will notice. And, to everyone that already has noticed, we thank and love you all. Fall of an empire is a band you really need to check out. Their music and overall attitude sets them apart from almost all bands you come across. They are one of those bands when you go see them play and are at the bar talking no matter how in depth the conversation is you will stop what you saying mid-sentence and turn around to check them out. They are really really good and also are some of the coolest most down to earth people I’ve ever met. They make good music for everyone and aren’t trying to impress anyone group. If you like rock and roll go listen to their album enjoy the Solid musicianship and great vocal hooks. The album is fairly short and really you will want more, But they will give you your fix very Soon.
