Total amount Raised £795.00 Thank you and Well Done! Reported by: Chloe Aylmer & Grace Murray All the children in First School came dressed as super heroes and brought a one pound donation to give to charity. There was a delicious cake sale at break time and nearly all the cakes were gone!!! Year 4 children made new actions to the ‘Super Hero’ song in PE with Miss Markey. Mr Meredith did an assembly for First School about the Rickshaw Challenge which has raised £2,741,840 for charity so far. This was organised by The One Show TV programme. Some of the teachers even dressed up!!!!!!!! We also enjoyed buying masks from our teachers, decorating them as super heroes to wear on Children In Need Day. The nursery dressed up as zoo animals and had a lot of fun. Reported by: Beautiful Beginnings The children at nursery and Pre School had lots of fun dressing up and raising money for Children in Need. They dressed up as Superheroes to help save the world and Class 3 dressed as jungle animals to fit in with their next topic. They had lots of fun going on an animal hunt in the jungle forest looking for different animals they could find and bring back to nursery! Some of the other children made their own superhero cards using their hand and foot prints and danced around to superhero music, learning how to move their bodies in different ways. Some of the children even decorated their own biscuits, although they didn’t last too long! The children all had a great day and helped to raise lots of money.
