making me into the person I am today”

Thanks to the help and support of my
teacher, I chose to study a Level 3 BTEC in
Construction and the Built Environment. My
BTEC opened doors that I didn’t know
existed, giving me the possibility of many
career paths. It covered different areas of
the industry, showing the inner workings of
various job roles, which gave us all the
confidence to follow these paths.
I can honestly say, the decision to study
BTEC was the best education/career
move I made.
I now work in the industry where I belong;
in construction. I put this all down to my
BTEC, and my amazing teachers (and
now friends) Lynsey Hanson and Adam
Thompson.
