I finished school with no GCSEs at
grade C or above, but I did complete a
BTEC Level 1 in Construction. I was
unsure of what I wanted to do, so went
into work before looking into courses at
Leeds College of Building. I went on to
complete a BTEC Level 2 in Civil
Engineering and the Built Environment.
I was then put forward for an interview with
Jacobs and got the job. I have since
undertaken a BTEC Level 3 Apprenticeship,
HNC and HND, and now a degree
apprenticeship with Jacobs.
