Like his former MotoGP™ colleague Tito Rabat , Folger is a rider with true ability , most recently demonstrated by winning the IDM Championship on a Yamaha R1 before arriving in the WorldSBK paddock this year with his MGM Bonovo BMW squad this year . Some true excellence in testing , he found painful and worrying injury at Assen . That was probably the final barrier to him making more than a 2021 high point of a second row qualifying performance at that same Dutch circuit . A shame that we did not see the full potential of Jonas , especially after decent wildcard rides in 2020 .

Fun-loving off track , serious on track in the advancement of his career , the original tie-up with TPR was not as fruitful as the eventual partnership with Barni Racing . Cavalieri has made all his points scores since he got on the Barni bike .

Big on his social media , as many of the more switched-on young riders are , Loris has had a tough season as a privateer Kawasaki rider . He has scored points , albeit all in Race One at Assen . His enthusiasm for racing was unabated but got injured late in the season .
