In the WorldSSP championship , for mid-capacity machines , Motul has just renewed its Official Lubricant Partner agreement with the iconic MV Agusta brand enhancing their mutual global business development . This means that each machine will be filled by Motul oil and other official maintenance products will be officially recommened by the Italian Manufacturer .
In addition Motul will sponsor Finnish rider Niki Tuuli and the MV Agusta Corsa Clienti squad .
Across the two main classes in the paddock there will be Motul riders
French oil giant Motul company recently re-signed for five more years as the title sponsor of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship , extending and underlining a powerful headline status that started inside WorldSBK in 2016 . As well as continued support for many aspects of WorldSBK racing in general there are some important new initiatives for 2021 - and several seasons after .
This year Motul not only re-affirmed its status as unique WorldSBK title sponsor but it has made new technical and branding agreements with major teams , including the role as Official Lubricant Partner of Team HRC - one of the most evocative names in all motorsport .
In addition to the official HRC team , with its star riding duo of multiple race winners Alvaro Bautista from Spain and Leon Haslam from the UK , Motul is directly supporting the new BMW satellite team , RC Squadra Corse , with Eugene Laverty as its top level runner . All of these riders know what it ’ s like to win races and compete for the WorldSBK title . to look out for , all with proven pedigrees and competitive machinery to help them achieve their ambitions . They will be racing bikes with extreme performance , but retaining a surprising number of standard parts , all kept in optimal condition by Motul products . This latest WorldSBK expansion of the overall Motul effort , which also enjoys a major presence in MotoGP™ and Endurance World Championship racing , is a vote of confidence in the Superbike series and its use of very high level production derived machinery . There are no less than five manufacturers in the full WorldSBK class , running what are at their heart , real products in a competitive marketplace . All five are household names - BMW , Honda , Ducati , Kawasaki and Yamaha - echoing far beyond the confines of motorsport , just like the name Motul .
One of the great characteristics of WorldSBK is its ability to focus the attention of real world bikers onto your range of products , as well as exposing it to a wider audience via a strong TV package . Discerning riders of road bikes and track day bikes are very likely to be interested in WorldSBK racing , and also be more technically minded than most .
