My mentor is an older French rider . He is a little bit crazy ! He helped me in the beginning of my career . He taught me in motocross and everything in the bike . His name is Serge Nuques , and for sure he helped me for everything in my career . He now continues this work with his son in motocross . The second mentor has been Fabien Foret . Every time I see Fabien in the paddock he has one small detail for me to improve a lot . When I arrived in Kawasaki he was my big help to understand the bike and to change my attitude during the racing weekend . Now he is really important for me - and also a big friend .”

Obviously , my dad Ron has been my main mentor , help and inspiration through my career - and still is . I was obviously quite lucky from an early age having grown up in the paddock with the likes of Alex Barros and Kevin Schwantz . When I first went to GPs I got a lot of help and support from the Loris Capirossis of this world , and these sorts of people , offering me advice . I have been surrounded by a lot of good mentors and good advice . But mainly it ’ s my dad throughout .”

“
In my career my biggest mentor was all the Evan Bros Team , but in particular Mauro Pellegrini , my crew chief in WorldSSP . He is a very strong and determined person who gives me the strength to achieve my objectives and this big dream . The most important memory of him , that explains perfectly how much he cares about his team , dates back to the winter test ( January 2020 ). We were in Jerez , but the weather was bad so he decided to move to Almeria to allow me to ride with the bike . That amazed me , but also excited me . I understood how much he really cares about Motorsport . I have great respect for him .”
