As it stands , of the 16 regular teams in this seasons ’ WorldSBK championship , eight of them are Italian . I will save you the arithmetic and say right now that that is 50 % of the entire full-time entry . By any measure that is a remarkable degree of heavy lifting in terms of numbers of teams from one country . Now we are firmly settled in on the Adriatic coast this weekend we asked some of them why the Italian breed has this clear need for WorldSBK speed .
Allo stato attuale , su sedici squadre che in questa stagione disputano regolarmente il campionato WorldSBK , otto sono italiane . Vi risparmio l ‘ aritmetica e vi dico subito che è il 50 % delle squadre che lo disputano a tempo pieno . In ogni caso si tratta di una cifra importante numericamente , visto che parliamo di squadre provenienti da una singola nazione . Una volta sistemati sulla costa adriatica per il round di questo fine settimana , abbiamo chiesto ad alcuni di loro come mai la razza italiana manifesta questa evidente esigenza di competere nel WorldSBK .
