During the summer (it seems a long time
ago now) we had our summer lunch at
the cricket club, and despite the heat Bob
Harris gave us a very informative talk
about Pishiobury Park comparing it to
the well-loved TV series Downton Abby.
In August we heard Chris Trunan’s talk
DABs and DNA, about how police use
forensic science and how his Job on
the forensic team has changed over the
years. It was extremely interesting and
well presented. We had a lovely end of
summer walk through Hatfi eld Forest
and of course sampled the refreshments
at the café. Tuesday October 16th our
speaker is Bernadette Merry talking
about scam awareness a subject we
of which we all need to be aware. On
Tuesday 20th November Alyson Bailey’s
talk is on Guide Dogs and is bringing a
dog with her!
Sawbridgeworth Evening WI meets
on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at
7.30pm at Sawbridgeworth Memorial
Hall. Visitors are always welcome
