Gus Caldera
Global Director, Product Management,
Ingersoll Rand Material Handling
In his role as global director of product management, Gus Caldera
oversees product development, product management, marketing,
and aftermarket products and services for Ingersoll Rand Material
Handling. While driving the business toward strategic growth in
the demanding market environment of oil and gas, Caldera has
expanded the company’s Authorized Service Distributor network
by 50 percent to better serve customers around the world. As
a trained mechanical engineer, Caldera brings an insightful
perspective to his work, knowing how equipment should perform
in the field, while also understanding the capital and operational
value customers expect from their equipment assets.
Caldera first joined Ingersoll Rand after earning a degree in
mechanical engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar in
Caracas, Venezuela and an MBA from University of Kansas in the
U.S. He has worked for Ingersoll Rand for more than 12 years in a
variety of roles in product management, aftermarket, engineering
and management. During that time, he has managed product
portfolios for heavy construction equipment, tools and pumps.
He has also led regional business teams in Europe, Middle East,
Africa and Latin America.
