The Library of Trinity College
Dublin is the largest library in
Ireland. It is famed for its ‘Long
Room’ was built in the early 18th
century. The over 200-foot-long
main room is covered in marble
and dark wood pilasters. The
library serves as the country’s
legal deposit or copyright library.
The library is known to be home
for the famous Book of Kells, an
illuminated manuscript by Celtic
monks around the year 800.
The State Law Library of Iowa
is located at the west wing of the
capitol building in Des Moines.
It can be considered as one of the
most beautiful law libraries in the
world because of its beautiful and
mesmerizing spiral staircases.
The library provides 105,000
volumes of legal treatises on state,
federal, regulatory, and case law
to the lawmakers, government
employees, the legal community,
and the general public.

to this library. It is known as the real-life ‘Beauty and
The Beast’ library. This monastery library is built in
1776 and it is so breathtakingly beautiful. There were
sculptures situated on the wall along the hallway of the
library, they were made by Josef Stammel, a Baroque
sculptor master. The ceiling is decorated with frescoes
showing the stages of human knowledge up to Devine
Revelation and all the designs reflected the values of
the Enlightenment.
