Quba Mosque , Madinah It is the first mosque built by the Muslims. The mosque is located in Medina and is close to the An-Nabawi Mosque. According to history, the Quba Mosque was founded by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) before his time of migration from Makkah to Medina. The mosque’s first Mosque, was built and completed by Sahabat Rasulullah (SAW) which took 20 nights after his migration to Medina. Jama Mosque, Delhi, India Jama Masjid of Delhi, or also called as Masjid-i Jahānnumā (World-reflecting Mosque) is the second largest mosque on the indian subcontinent. It was constructed in 1650 and completed six years after. The idea of the construction of this mosque was by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahān, an Islamic architect whose popularly known with the work of the Taj Mahal, in Agra and the Red Fort in New Delhi which stands opposite the mosque. Jama Masjid is oriented toward the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which lies to the west. An open courtyard facing the eastern gateway of the mosque building can accommodate up to 25,000 people.
