It was very difficult balancing sports, running a business and keeping up with my grades but when you’re true to yourself you understand sacrifice. There were days when I had to finish art projects where I had to stay up late knowing that I had an early morning football practice, but I still made sure I got there. I’m not saying that I made every one of those practices on time, but I made the decision with knowing it’s a chance of me not waking up on time and I lived with that.
Living on campus at the University of Massachusetts how involved were you in activities and expressing your love for art?
At the University of Massachusetts, I was heavily involved with the fashion shows that they held every year. ENO became the main feature brand as the years went on to where I was the closer of the show. Those shows gave me the confidence to create my own.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years as a business man and with your clothing line ENO?
Happy. Enjoying my life with my family in a new way based off of the success of ENO. I do see my brand on the bodies of celebrities and your everyday people. It’s a vision that a had for a long time.
Having a brother who is artistic as well do you both ever take part in collaboration projects colliding your fashion and his graphic designing?
Yes we do. The Enovative art logo actually startedoff from that technique. I actually drew the logo in my drawing book and took a picture of it and sent it to my brother Jerry Mook Jones. After that he took the image & made the official logo using his graphic design skills.
As of now we are brainstorming to come up with a collaboration show. Stay tuned
This year you launched your first official line, how did you narrow down options to pick the first starting products for Eno being that you make so many custom items?
