Nwabisa Mjoli ( Phantane AC ) will make her marathon debut on 16 October and it will be interesting to see how she transitions to this longer distance . She won the Dolphin Coast 10km in July , and has a host of other podium spots in the 10km and half marathon to her name .
Aynalem Teferi from Ethiopia . She was 3rd in the 2021 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon so will have something to prove .
