SAN LUIS DE LA REINA, SAN MIGUEL
History
At the end of the eighteenth century the
hacienda of Ostucal belonged to the curate of
Ozicala and to the party of San Miguel, and was
rich in crops, indigo and cereals, as well as in
raising cattle. In language pipilnáhuat, Ostucal
literally means "houses in the ravine", since it
comes from ostuc, cave, ravine, and lime, house.
