Hints, tips and topical advice for your business The Big Topic… How to achieve high employee engagement and stop employees walking out the door According to a recent study, job satisfaction in the UK has fallen to its lowest level in two years resulting in around a quarter of workers looking for jobs elsewhere. Whilst the cost of rehiring others to take their place is understood, there are significant hidden costs to losing employees that are rarely taken into account, and that is where the trouble really starts. Of course, to avoid the impact of losing good people, it’s best to stop them leaving in the first place. This is where employee engagement comes into its own.
