greater understanding of anthropologists and
researchers alike. Humans, for centuries, have
questioned their existence. It is a trait that is
found in all humans. The tradition of Sufism
allows its devotees to experience the
furthering of the self to become nearer to the
answer of “what is our purpose in this
world?” You must detach in order to
understand. Sufism unlocks many answers to
the mystic realm and may be the key to the
understanding of why humans question their
existence. The complexity humans face with
themselves causes turmoil within their souls.
To find ones-self is to look beyond; not only
outwards into different realms, but inwards to
find peace.
