#WhatsUp @Youth A creative Culture of Youth Arts... The arts can be a powerful medium and creative tool for selfexpression and exploration. Young people can access a sense of belonging and a journey of self-discovery by opening their mind to the creative culture of Youth Arts, also whilst developing a skill set in a desired discipline. Regional Youth Support Services, The Youth Arts Warehouse (YAW) is a contemporary MUSIC, ART & THEATRE venue providing creative development programs for young people and emerging artists 12 – 25 years of age. The YAW facilities include events, live bands, youth theatre, exhibitions and recording studio. Facilities are also available for hire. Funded by Arts NSW and various sources, this dynamicvenue has held sold out concerts, internationally accredited exhibitions, and innovative original plays, while enhancing young people’s creative practice with a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to work in the industry. YAW will be offering a range of programs for Term 3 and 4 from July 2014. These include Theatre, Visual Art, Music and Live Events.
