The Employee Recognition framework undergoes constant improvement to ensure that it keeps abreast with best practice in this area. Since the Awards were established, new categories of excellence has been added such as an award recognising innovation and/or innovative practices which is underpinned by SALGA’s vision of “an association of municipalities that is at the cutting-edge of quality and sustainable services”.
