Executive summary
Following the local government elections on
3 August 2016, SALGA embarked on an integrated
councillor induction programme. This was
rolled out from September 2016 to November
2016. The outcome of this initiative is a group
of new councillors who have a fully integrated
understanding of the context in which they
operate.
