The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan
(CSM RK) is one of the oldest and largest museums in the entire Central Asian Region.
During its tour in Kazakhstan, El-SALAM magazine made an interview with the Director of the CSM RK, Mr Nursan
Alimbay. From his side - Mr Nursan Alimbay- assured that the Museum is one of the oldest and largest museums not only
in Kazakhstan but the entire Central Asian region, containing about 300,000 units of artefact. At present the museum
has seven stationary halls, containing a diverse collection that provides a good overview of the history and culture of
Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present.
