It’s a great way to learn about the school, meet some new friends and learn why SUA could be the perfect fit for your prospective student. Sign up solo or come with a friend. You will experience Saint Ursula’s welcoming atmosphere and learn about all SUA has to offer. Upcoming Events SUA Summer Academy: Summer camps for girls in grades 3-8 | June 2018 This summer, girls are invited to join the fun and learning taking place at SUA. A variety of camps are offered from fine arts, to academic, to athletic. All participants will receive a Saint Ursula Academy t-shirt. Coffee and Conversation September 19, October 9, November 14, January 25 8:15 -10:00am Faculty, counselors, Admissions staff, and administrators will be on hand to answer your questions. This program does NOT include a formal presentation, so feel free to stay the whole time of stop in for a few minutes. Grade School Volleyball Night | September 20 Come watch the SUA Varsity Volleyball Bulldogs play in the Saint Ursula Academy Gym. FREE admission to students and their parents when you wear your school spirit wear. Enter to win prizes between matches. Financial Aid Information Night | October 17 7:00 – 8:00pm This session will include an overview of the financial aid process, the FACTS tuition payment and aid application system. Includes Q&A with Business Office staff. Open House | October 28, 1:00 – 3:30pm Take an in-depth look at all Saint Ursula Academy has to offer. Tour classrooms, explore the campus, and meet the distinguished faculty engaging you in a 21st century education! NO RSVP needed. Educational Services Program Information Night September 5, 6:30 – 7:30pm Meet teachers from our program for students with identified learning disabilities and find out how SUA and the Educational Service Program support these students. Young Women’s Institute | November 10, 2018 The goal of this Multicultural and Empowerment Retreat is to celebrate diversity and empower each girl to be her own best self. The retreat will include a variety of community-building and skill-building activities specifically geared towards girls in the 6th – 8th grades. High School Placement Test | November 17, 8:30am –12:00pm All 8th grade girls must take the High School Placement Test to apply to Saint Ursula Academy. We will host a test site and accept test scores taken at any other Catholic School in the city. The test will begin at 8:30am and finish at approximately 12:00pm. Grade School Basketball Night | December 13 Come watch the SUA Varsity Basketball Bulldogs play in the Saint Ursula Academy Gym. Dawg Day | August 17, 8:30am – 2:45pm One-day program for girls in the 8th grade. Visitors will experience the excitement and activity that are part of a Saint Ursula education. Bring your friends and imagine yourself at Saint Ursula next fall! Shadow Day | September 5 – December 7 Spend a day at SUA! The Shadow Program allows 8th grade girls to attend a day of class with a current student. See how the Tablet PC is used in class, meet teachers and students, check out the lunch room, and be a Bulldog for a day! Showcase Night | November 6 or December 6, 6:30 – 8:30pm This two-hour program for 7th and 8th grade students and their parents will “showcase” the many parts of a Saint Ursula education. Also find a complete listing of events and links to register at http://www.saintursula.org/Visit.aspx HSPT Review and Strategies Course November 3, 9:00am – 3:00pm The one-day review course for girls in the 8th grade will help them learn test-taking tips, review content of the High School Placement Test, familiarize themselves with the test format, and build confidence. SUA welcomes Tricia Reisman to the Admissions Office at Saint Ursula Academy.   Tricia comes to us from Mother of Mercy High School.   Her experience there will greatly lend itself to her role as our Assistant Director of Admissions. She and her husband reside on the west side of Cincinnati with their four daughters.  Their eldest daughter, Gracie, will be a freshman at SUA beginning in August.
