Support for Ethiopia Schools Continues
To date , Saint David ’ s has built four educational facilities in two towns in Ethiopia , in partnership with Save the Children . The Saint David ’ s School in Kalina and the Saint David ’ s Al ’ asa School are both elementary schools for Muslim boys and girls in Tigray . Continuing our support of education in Ethiopia this year , seventh and eighth graders held pay-to-play basketball shootouts in the winter and the “ Are You Smarter than an Eighth Grader ?” quiz show in June .
STEAM Curriculum in ACTION in Pre-K
Pre-K learners engineered St . Patrick ’ s Day themed leprechaun traps to catch the crafty , elusive creatures . The boys designed and constructed their traps using knowledge they gained from a book on the topic . Hint - make it shiny , use lava .
