AROUND CAMPUS
A Resilient Class
Eighth graders met together as a class for the first time this year in late April , when Dr . O ’ Halloran gathered them in the Otto-Bernstein Theatre . The Headmaster commended the boys for their resilience . “ We are grateful to the Class of 2021 for leading us through this pandemic with style and grace . We thank you for being resilient , optimistic , and leading by example . You stayed focused on your studies , applied to high school , got the job done . We thank you for your creativity , sportsmanship , scholarship , faith and hope , all of which helped us work through a challenging year .”
Agents for the Good
The seventh graders presented their Agents for the Good Chapel talks during virtual Chapels this spring . The talks are the culminating project in the Agents for the Good interdisciplinary unit , in which boys focus on a person whose actions exemplify the values of our mission .
Seeds to Supper
Pre-K boys explored the journey food takes from the garden to the table ! They grew wheatgrass and other plants , tending to their own classroom garden .
