Performance by Tom Harvey ’13
and The Dartmouth Sings
In early December, Saint David’s boys were treated to a
special assembly featuring members of The Dartmouth Sings,
Dartmouth College’s premier pop and alternative a cappella
group. Thomas Harvey ’13, a sophomore at Dartmouth, is a
member, and he was thrilled to invite the group to sing for his
alma mater. The group came early in the morning and taught
Saint David’s Singers the opening measures of their holiday
selection “All I Want for Christmas.” Says Chorale Director
Phyllis Clark, “We also learned a few tips on beat boxing
from Raphael Preston, bass, webmaster and ‘beat-meister!’”
Always active in music and theater, Tom raved about the
school’s expanded space, the Otto-Bernstein Performing Arts
Theatre, in particular.
Tom McLellan
Tom McLellan h’12 retired from his work as alumni
development associate in December. After spending more
than four decades in the classroom, Tom had spent the last
six-and-a-half years in the Development Office helping
with Alumni Relations and building out our extended
community. All wish Tom well on his second retirement
from Saint David’s!
Class of 2018 Commons Pizza
and Basketball Party
In December members of the Class of 2018 enjoyed a pizza
party in Il Duomo followed by a basketball party in the new
Benno Gymnasium.
