• Red light running frequently observed .
• Red light running is common .
• Red light running is an issue .
Striping
• Keep roads and crosswalks properly striped . Many are faded . Rain and night driving is a^ected .
• Restripe road and crosswalks .
• A lot of tra^ic stripes faded .
Miscellaneous
• Keep bicycle lanes properly swept so cyclists can actually ride in the bike lane without debris pushing them closer to tra^ic .
• At least one stakeholder is happy to share programs / speaker at Neighborhood Groups , Rotary Clubs , and other community organizations .
• Collaborations with academic institutions that specialize in transportation safety , human behavior and public policy may provide valuable information regarding safety measure or test projects . Discussions regarding high crash location . Someone has already built a better mouse trap .
• Insurance markets can help ensure that policies and incentives are aligned with reducing road-related risks and fostering safer driving behavior .
• Utilize Waze App data .
• Work with UTA .
• Drivers frequently stop past the stop bar in the crosswalk .
• More enforcement presence is needed .
• Speed is an issue – need more tra^ic calming , tra^ic circles , raised crossings .
• Ask Arlington App is buggy – GPS is not accurate ; people can ’ t get updates on issues they ’ ve submitted .
• More speed feedback signs are needed , the public needs to know how they can request them from Police Department .
• Many motorcyclists are not wearing helmets .
• Request for more than speed setting policies since roadway design is what will be e^ective . Want a toolkit to develop sensitive street design .
