the United Methodist Conference since 2012. Myra was
an Urban Ministry Coordinator and worked as Director
of Victim Services for the Anti-Violence Partnership of
Philadelphia, and has been a staff member for and served
on the boards of several nonprofits as well as the judicial
system. Myra studied Human Services at Lincoln University
and earned a Th.D. from International Christian University.
At Partners, she will direct the Strategic Investment in Sacred
Places program.

David has worked for several years
with communities and nonprofits as an
organizer and consultant. He has a B.A.
in Urban and Public Policy from the
University of Buffalo, where he planned and implemented
a lecture series at the historic Michigan Street Baptist
Church that brought in speakers from as far as Florida and
Oklahoma to engage the city in transformative discourse
on a range of issues. At Partners, he helps promote our
mission through social media and is working to expand our
Information Clearinghouse.
Dorian Volpe, Office Manager,

Dorian received her B.A. in English from
Lewis and Clark College in Portland,
OR, in 2005. For the past eight years she
has lived in New York City and worked
in an administrative capacity for numerous organizations
including New York University and Sotheby’s. Dorian
relocated to Philadelphia in January 2013 and joined
