New Staff
Partners welcomes several new staff members! This growth is the largest
in Partners’ history, nearly doubling our numbers and allowing for
expanded programming and outreach through all of our regional offices.
Ellyn Barkley, Executive Program Assistant,
Pennsylvania Office
Ellyn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
with a B.A. in Architecture. She is working at Partners
as a Fellow through the Fox Leadership Program.
While at Penn, she was a member of the varsity
volleyball team and continues to be involved with the team as a coach.
She has previously worked at Scarcello Associates and Bobby Hill
Designs as a design and architectural intern.
Alison Cornish, Senior Director of Programs
Alison is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and has
been working with Partners for a number of years as
a trainer and consultant. We are thrilled to welcome
her aboard to oversee our major program initiatives,
including the New Dollars/New Partners training
program and Strategic Investment in Sacred Places,
and to supervise our expanding program staff. Alison’s dual Masters’
Degrees in Divinity and Historic Preservation make her uniquely suited
to direct Partners’ program work.
Alison Hernandez, Program Coordinator,
Texas Office
A native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Alison
graduated with a B.S in Architecture from the
University of Texas at Arlington, where she
collaborated on the Congo Street Green Initiative,
which serves to implement new methods of sustainable design for
under-served communities. She is currently finishing a Master’s degree
in Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia. Previously, as
an intern at Partners for Sacred Places, Alison participated in the survey
and documentation of historic Texas churches for the Texas Sacred Places
Project.
